Help us Expand: Become an Owner Today!
We currently have 409 owners. We'd LOVE to have you next! Come on down and help us move forward with our plans to bring even more great food and fun to this community we all love so much, while supporting local farms and good health.
We Want Your Input: Survey 2008
We are excited to learn your opinions! We have made changes to the membership structure and components of our service and product selection over the past year. And we continue to move forward with expansion plans. For all of these reasons we want YOUR input! We hope you want to give it freely, but if you need some prompting and to show you how much we value the participation, every survey completed by July 31 (with contact info provided) will be entered into a drawing for a $50 PFC gift certificate. Please follow this link to join the other 74 people who have taken the survey, or stop in and pick up a paper version. Thanks!
People's Partnering to Bring Food Stamps Access to Kalamazoo Farmers' Market
Recipients of government food assistance in the form of Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT), also known as the Bridge Card, are now able to use their cards at the Kalamazoo Farmers' Market. Interested cardholders should come to the People's Food Co-op booth, swipe their card and receive tokens which can be used to purchase produce and other foods at nearly 30 participating vendors. This is made possible through funding from Kalamazoo Rotary and the City of Kalamazoo's Department of Parks and Recreation, and through a partnership with Fair Food Matters.
